With grant funding from the Regional Arts and Culture Council this year, the mural project has been expanded. We have more dates, and more locations, and are looking forward to making more murals! You are invited to make a (18″X24″) mural based on a photograph of your loved one. Murals will be displayed at Duniway Elementary School during the event and you will be invited to bring your mural home following the event. This project is FREE. If you would like to make a donation to help cover the costs of the project, it is appreciated. This is completely optional. Suggested donation: $20.
How to Participate:
- Sign up for a time to attend a workshop– Mural Sign Up.
- Email Jodie a copy of the photo you would like to use– firstname.lastname@example.org. We will enlarge this photo and bring it to The Dougy Center for you to use. YOU MUST SUBMIT A PHOTO*
- Show up at your workshop time to make your mural
- If possible, attend Celebrate Silas Event to see murals displayed and bring your mural home following the event (other arrangements made as needed).
